Chando lives in New York City. Chando studied at Manhattan College prior to becoming an actor. Chando was the original Maddie Coleman of the television soap show As World turns. The role she played was from 2005 to 2007, and again for several months towards the end of 2009. Alexandra started her career in acting in the TV series House Blend on which she portrayed Jenna Harper. The following year, she was cast in the American soap opera on TV that airs in CBS, As the World Turns in the role of Maddie Coleman. Chando made her TV debut in True life (an American documentary) late in 2009. Later, in 2009, she appeared in Sherri, a TV show. In addition, Chando starred in two episodes of Glory Daze in the role of Annabelle. She also has credits on Castle, Hindsight Dead People as well as Outcast.
