Scarlett Johansson was born on November 22, 1984, at New York City New York. Johansson was born in New York City, and raised there by her father, an architect, and mother who produced. She and her twin brother Hunter were the youngest siblings of four. When she was just seven an old, the actress started auditioning for television commercials. To improve her skills, she attended classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Manhattan as well as she attended the Professional Children's School.
